Beautiful hotel I would highly recommend to use this hotel ,staff very helpful ,food beautiful.

Location is perfect. A retro style hotel with a good environment and good service, but less breakfast. There is a supermarket nearby for easy shopping, and there is also a bicycle rental shop that can easily rent bicycles to ride in Killarney National Park.

Tatler Jack. We stayed here on January 1st and 2nd. We hardly slept a wink the first night because of the very loud live music coming from Tatler Jack's bar downstairs. This went on until around When the music stopped we were kept awake by the noise of the revellers leaving the venue and congregating outside, and then by other late-night revellers walking under our hotel room window.

The next morning we requested another room but were told that there weren't any other rooms free, but when we checked online later that day there were rooms available. My partner once worked for a company that booked rooms like this; she said that sometimes a room would be booked but that it wouldn't show up immediately on the sites, but there were a few rooms listed as free for this night so this wouldn't be an issue.

The staff then told us that the manager, whom they were speaking with over the phone while speaking with us, said that there wouldn't be any live music that second night so we'd be okay.

The manager lied because there was more live music that night, and we had the same problem. If you're visiting Killarney to go clubbing and drinking into the early hours then none of this will bother you, but if you're there to see the Ring of Kerry and need to be awake for what is sometimes a percarious though beautiful drive along the edge of mountains then avoid this place like the plague because you'll need your sleep.

One final note: the staff, tho friendly, have no idea of how hotel housekeeping works. The fresh towels and soap for the second night were dropped onto our unmade beds, and that was it. I'm a tour guide, and when the person over the phone heard this he gave us a discount for the room; but I wouldn't recommend staying in this place even if it were free.

You'll be in no fit state to drive or enjoy your holiday after a night here. Brook Lodge Boutique Hotel. We stayed here at the beginning of the virus outbreak in March. Our rooms were good and everything was clean. In a quiet area, too. My husband and myself booked a signature room for a two night stay and had a great experience from check in to check out.

All the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely warm room with a scenic view of the mountains. The furniture in the room was a beautiful mahogany with plenty of mirrors and the bed was big and comfy. We made good use of the complementary dressing gowns, slippers and toiletries. We enjoyed the excellent leisure facilities especially the steam room and gained great pleasure from wandering around the public areas admiring the fabulous art collection of pictures, statues and antique furniture.

Thank you to all the staff at Randles Court Hotel for helping to make our stay a great experience. A special mention to Bronagh, Azz, Angela and Kasrun not sure if I have the correct spelling for Kasrun, but nothing was too much trouble for this lovely lady. Firstly and most importantly, on a stay in a hotel, the 2 things that stand out the most are the staff and the room. Both of these were top class, big and beautiful room for a three night stay, was very impressed.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. However, over the three day stay, we had dinner one night and breakfast three mornings. Each of the 4 times we dined in the hotel there was always something getting mixed up. Bringing the wrong order to the table, giving our food to another table, to tea bag in the teapot. All of this just seemed to compound each day, the organisation of the staff could definitely be improved on.

Another thing is the dinner, very small portions of the fish cake and the fish and chips, which leave a lot to be desired for. I also ordered "chocolate fudge cake", which is a favourite dessert of mine, but it came out as a dry brownie which was also very small. Overall a lovely stay in a quality hotel, with really friendly and helpful staff.

But organisation of restaurant staff, and the food for the evening meals certainly need to be improved. I wouldn't hesitate to return but might go elsewhere for dinner!
